Four regional Fed officials continue giving interest increase signals in different meetings. The four regional heads of the Fed expressed that they're in support of the move in interest rates next month. New York Fed President William Dudley attended the conference in New York, referring to the fluctuations that began after the US presidential elections in global markets, shared his though : "Movements in the markets seem to be in line with expectations about how economic policies will change, so I do not find those living in financial markets worrying about monetary policy". During the talk of Dudley, one of the most influential actors in the Fed's monetary policy determination and implementation, US dollar and government interest rates were at record levels with investors expecting faster growth, inflation and interest rate hikes in the US. Also, both Dallas and Kansas Fed officials have given positive signals about interest increase in near future.
